The South East District are pleased to facilitate a second talk on the theme of dementia.
The talk will be led by Julie Barnett, Dementia and Frailty Care Coordinator, Foundry Healthcare Lewes. Julie has been in this role for almost 5 years. In her talk, Julie will cover a pathway to diagnosis including signs to be aware of and the range of symptoms that can be experienced, along with difficulties faced by the person living with dementia and their families / carers. She will also talk about the support that is available through organisations/ groups/ training. Julie has kindly offered to take questions on any aspect of dementia/cognition subsequent to her talk.
