- Methodist Homes provide retirement accommodation in Scotland, as well as care homes in other parts of the UK.
- The Methodist Church in Scotland is one of the core funders of FiSCAF, which helps local faith groups working in areas of deprivation in Scotland.
- The Methodist Church in Scotland is one of 13 Christian denominations and organisations on the board of Scottish Churches Housing Action, which helps churches and others make practical responses to the challenge of homelessness in Scotland.
- The Methodist Church in Scotland was one of the founders in 1998 of the Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office.
- The Methodist Church in Scotland is a founder member of Scottish Faiths Action for Refugees, set up in 2016.
