Organised by ‘Pastors in a Secular Age’
How can we stay in love with the congregations we serve as the years go by? We will be examining and discussing ways that may work for you.
We have spent three years travelling together in these sessions looking at a wide variety of topics related to leading smaller congregations during this historical moment. It has been an incredibly rich, encouraging and informative experience for many of us and we hope you can join us too. We now turn to the honest joys and heartaches of falling in and out of love with the people we serve, and how we can remain faithful to our vows after all the mileage we have put in. Paul Watson will be leading us in a presentation drawing on the work of WH Vanstone, Henri Nouwen and Eugene Peterson and then going to breakout groups for the real learning part of our time together…listening to one another!
‘Pastors in a Secular Age’ started out at the start of the pandemic as a small group of pastors from different church groups in Scotland responding to the secular context we find ourselves in today. The journey continues!
