    Wednesday evenings 17 & 24 Nov, 1 & 8 Dec, 7-9pm

24 November: The context of Family Life, relationships and wellbeing

This four-session training course explores practical aspects of strengthening and deepening our ministry and connection with families. It will also explore key principles that underpin different expressions of family ministry. This will encourage a missional and strategic approach to effective ministry to families in your communities.

Participants will have the opportunity to think through approaches and practice that might suit their different contexts. If you are interested in exploring some of the ideas that underpin Family Ministry, reflecting on practice with others and sharing your own experience then this is for you! Whether you are a volunteer or paid worker, a lay leader or ordained minister, you are welcome to participate.

Do encourage some folk from your congregation to attend, whether you already have some ministry that connects with families or if you are interested in exploring possibilities in this area.

This course is hosted by the Church of Scotland, the Christian Education Association Scotland, and the Methodist Church of Great Britain (Scotland & Shetland Region). The course is based on the interdenominational Core Skills modules.
