Overview for Tutors, Mentors and Local Preacher Secretaries
This familiarisation course about the principles and structure of WLP 3.0 is aimed at those new to any of the above roles, or considering offering for one of these roles, or those with previous experience in role with a previous version of the course.
The session will outline general principles behind the W:L&P course, and the changes that have been made in version 3.0. It will also explain the different roles, and the way they interact during the training of students. There will be opportunity for those in particular roles to spend some focused time together with guidance and tips on how to get the most from the course as you support the students in your care. There will be a short time for Q&A at the end of the time together.

How do you recognise God’s voice?
What might God need you to be in the world?
Might God be calling you to some new adventure?
This weekend conference is open to anyone who wants to:
- deepen their discerning prayer life
- reflect on how God might be calling them to service with their particular gifts and passions
- share their vocational journey and experience, and listen to others to help them explore vocation
- explore ways of developing a positive vocation exploration culture and leading intentionally to enable this
So whether you are wondering where next, considering a new role, entering retirement, or discerning a call to lead worship, preach or enter ordained ministry, join us to share in this time with our Connexional Vocations Adviser, Alison Ransome.
