AtaLoss is a national charity dedicated to helping bereaved people find the support and wellbeing
they need.
With support from a Benefact Trust Community Impact Grant, AtaLoss is developing the Loss and HOPE project – a project that equips churches across the UK to provide essential bereavement support to their communities.
This project will provide churches with training and resources, as well as equipping them to run The Bereavement Journey®, a 7-week course to support those who have been bereaved.
Want to be involved in bereavement support at your church? In this short video, we sit down with Katy Tutt from AtaLoss to discuss what we need to know about grief and the role of the church in providing bereavement support.
This service has been prepared by Methodist Women in Scotland.
All We Can have produced this resource to help churches explore and embody the ‘Practices of Justice’ from the Methodist Church’s Justice-Seeking Church strategy.
This is not to encourage churches to start lots of new initiatives, but to help congregations ‘move the dial’ towards better ways of doing justice in what they are already doing. The sessions feature games, prayer activities, videos, and practical suggestions around the areas of Being With Not For, Humility in Community, Self-Awareness and the Use of Power, Transformation, and Prayer.
