Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund

Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund works with local faith groups, building hope by providing grants and support in Scotland’s most fragile urban and rural communities. More about Fiscaf.

Its core funders are the Church of Scotland, the Pastoral Care Trust which is a grant giving arm of the [Roman Catholic] Archdiocese of Glasgow, the United Reformed Church, the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Scotland, the Methodist Church in Scotland, and the STV appeal.

FiSCAF  superseded the Scottish Churches Community Trust (SCCT) which itself took over the work in Scotland previously covered under Methodism’s Mission Alongside the Poor Fund. The Methodist Church channels its support for Mission alongside the Poor in Scotland through FiSCAF.

You can see a mind map of its structure in Spring 2014.
