- Afternoon Tea
Armadale Methodist Church hosts an afternoon tea on the last Wednesday each month. The aim is two fold, to raise awareness and funds for local good causes, whilst offering a space to foster an opportunity for socialisation in the community. A representative from the charity being highlighted gives a short talk about their work.
Our afternoon tea this month is on Wednesday 25th February at 1pm. We will be joined by Team Jak Foundation- Jak’s Den we look forward to hearing from this fantastic charity.
There is no charge for admission but donations are welcome for the appointed charity’s funds. Local causes we have supported through our afternoon teas include :
- Food bank
- The Shed
- Harmony dance club ( a weekly tea dance for elderly residents)
- Street Pastors
- Armadale Children’s Gala
- Carers of West Lothian
