Netta McCallum cuts the cake
The Cake
was cut by our oldest member, Netta McCallum. In the foreground of the picture is a tier of the cake that was baked to celebrate 125 years of Armadale Methodist Church. Unfortunately, it proved to be unfit for human consumption.

Birthday Cake
But these were not our only cakes
Six of our members were celebrating birthdays during the week of the Church Anniversary.
In Chronological order: Donnie Caldwell, May Thompson, Willie Lochhead, Bert Drummond, May Currie, Ena Gray
Together, their ages added up to 468!
A Commemorative Mug
was produced to mark the occasion, printed with a photograph of the Church and the legend,
“Armadale Methodist Church 150th Anniversary 1865 – 2015”
Here modeled by Mrs Margaret Law, dressed in a garb befitting her membership of The Wesley Singers, who sang prior to and during the Service of Thanksgiving
Guests
Included representatives from Wallacestone and Stirling Methodist Churches, Armadale Parish Church, St. Anthony’s R.C. Armadale , URC Bathgate, Bathgate Baptist Church and the local councillor.
All the food was delicious and attractively served – and we all got a piece of cake with our cup of tea to finish off an unforgettable time together.
