Protection of Mother Earth through Mindfulness and Prayer
Tuesday 1st February, 12.30 – 2.45pm, on Zoom
To celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week, Interfaith Scotland has organised an international online event in partnership with ‘Mindfulness for Earth’ initiative and UNEP’s ‘Faith for Earth’ initiative. During this event, faith leaders representing seven faiths will speak on how mindfulness and prayer can be helpful towards protecting the environment, and how it could lead to preventing further climate crises. Encouraging us to reconnect with ourselves and our Mother Earth, each faith leader will also share a short meditation practice or a prayer. The full list of speakers is on the poster attached. This event will take place live on Zoom and there will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions in the Q & A session.
