We long for a more just and fairer world, but what does this look like, and how do we get there?
The Walking with Micah justice conversations, to run from February to June 2022, are an opportunity for local Methodist communities to explore some key questions – what justice looks like to us; what issues matter where we are; and what most important actions need to be taken. Churches, groups and individuals will then be invited to send in their responses.
These conversations are part of the Walking With Micah project, exploring what it means to be a justice-seeking church.
This pre-launch webinar will be an opportunity to find out how you can be involved with running conversations in your context. It’s open to anyone who would like to find out more about the resources available to help you get involved.
You’ll hear from Rachel Lampard, leader of the Walking with Micah project, and Hannah Brown of JPIT about the Justice Conversations and how they fit into the project. The webinar will also explore the tools which will be available to help churches engage with the questions, show how you can send your group’s responses to the project, and look at how you might support participation in the conversations in your circuit or district.
The webinar will be run twice:
Tuesday 25 January 7-8:15pm
Wednesday 26 January 1-2:15pm
The event will be held on zoom. You will be sent the joining details by email.
