Transgender Day of Remembrance

On Saturday 20th Nov, at the conclusion of #TransAwareness Week, this is a day to remember those lives lost through murder and suicide all because they identified as transgender. Here is a short time of reflection with a Christian, Quaker, Muslim and secular message of hope for all people – that they are loved, and that we can do more. With thanks to the Scottish Transgender Alliance, Khakan Qureshi from the Birmingham-based- South Asian LGBTQ group, Chaplains and students from the University of Glasgow, the Iona Community and members of the Woodlands Methodist Church in Glasgow: here is an opportunity to pause, to remember, to encourage, to love.
