Bible Month Event – 23rd March, Perth Methodist Church, 10.30am-3.30pm, lunch included.
Our keynote speaker is Richard Tiplady, Director of Mixed Mode Training for the Scottish Episcopal Church. His previous roles include Principal of International Christian College and British Director of European Christian Mission, a church-planting mission agency. His doctoral research was in the development of entrepreneurial leadership in the church in Scotland, and his current role includes the development and leadership of a mission-focussed ordination training pathway for the SEC. Richard comments, “A focus on Colossians is timely as we try to work out what it means to live for Christ in Scotland today. What does the Lordship of Christ mean in a diverse, pluralistic context? What does being “alive with Christ” mean, and how then should we live? These are some of the questions which Paul considers in his letter to the Colossian churches, and which we will explore together.
